What is VIP Consigning?

  • Standard Consignor makes a 60% commission on their sales. As a VIP Consignor, you would make 35% of your sales. You will be charged a $13.00 VIP Consignor fee (taken out of your Consignor check – you don’t pay it up front).

  • If you want to Consign your nice items, but don't have time for consigning process, our VIP Program is your solution!

  • A VIP Processor will gather, prep, tag, enter, and deliver your items to our upcoming event! You'll still earn a Private Pre-Sale Pass.

  • Your items will be priced at 25-35% of retail.

HOW DOES VIP CONSIGNING WORK?

You provide clean, wrinkle-free outgrown children's clothing, toys, baby equipment, gear, books, puzzles, etc. All in great working condition with very little wear and tear. Your assigned processor will pick up your items, hang, tag, price, enter, place your barcodes on the items and check your items into the event. You get a pass to shop both the Private Pre-Sale and the Half Price Pre-Sale at the Consignor times before the public so you get early choices of merchandise and pricing. You choose to have your unsold items returned at the end of the sale with your check OR donated to foster families and local charities that support family and children.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS...

We love baby gear, toys, books, maternity items, movies, etc! Car Seats MUST BE VERY CLEAN! If the seat has stains, food, dirt, etc., we will not accept it. It also must not be expiring within 6 months of our sale date. All clothing must be seasonally appropriate, less than 2-3 years old, and freshly washed. Clothing needs to be clean, odor free and pet hair free. If items have been in long term storage, please go through them and make sure they are current and freshly laundered. No stains, holes or excessive wear. If you have outfits, please fold them together so your VIP Processor will know what goes together. Any items that require batteries to work must have working batteries and items must have all parts. Shoes are only accepted if they are in very clean condition. Rhea Lana's will accept sandals, flip flops, white dress shoes, water shoes, tennis shoes and rain boots. All shoes must be in clean, excellent condition. PLEASE UNDERSTAND: If you provide items that do not meet the Rhea Lana's standards (clothing with stains, holes excessive wear, dirty shoes, out-of-season items, items that do not work, or items we do not accept) your VIP processor will immediately donate them and they will NOT be returned to you. No exceptions! Processors simply do not have the storage space or the capacity to return things to you. If unacceptable items exceed two regular sized grocery bags, a $25 excessive sorting free will be be applied to your account.

ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT...

Recalled items. Any battery-operated toys, swings or bouncers, etc. that do not function. DVDs & VHS Tapes. Used underwear. Jewelry. Stuffed animals (unless interactive). Any items that are stained, torn or excessively worn. Items with missing buttons, broken zippers or lost parts. Bags of loose toys unless theme oriented (i.e. bags of all army toys, Barbie toys, all cars and trucks, etc). Breast pumps. Used bottle nipples/used pacifiers. Bedding (This includes sheets larger than twin/full size, all comforters and crib bumpers). Cribs Artwork/wall decor Shoppers love BRAND NAME & BOUTIQUE BRANDS! Although we do not limit our brands at this time, please focus on high quality, name brand items.

ARE THERE ITEMS LIMITS?

Infant clothing items are limited to 50 hangers (regardless of number of items per hanger) per gender up to size 12 months per Consignor ID. Maternity items are limited to 15 hangers per Consignor ID. Junior/Teen girls clothing are limited to 25 hangers (there is no limit in boys). This is anything above a size 16-18 girls. Please keep in mind, these should be teen brands/styles that are appropriate. Please do not send adult clothing or brands, processors will not be able to enter them. Also, we do NOT accept formal dresses or prom dresses.

HOW DO I DELIVER MY ITEMS TO MY PROCESSOR?

Whatever containers you choose to deliver your items to the VIP Processor in will NOT be returned. Please use boxes or paper bags to deliver your items and do NOT plastic garbage bags.

HOW DO I GET MY PRE-SALE SHOPPING PASS?

You will receive the passes by email through Eventbrite.

WHAT DO I DO ABOUT ITEMS THAT DON'T SELL?

You must pick up any unsold items (if not marked for donation) during Consignor Pick Up times immediately following the event. Your VIP Processor will NOT be responsible for returning unsold items. If you do not pick up unsold items during the designated pick-up times, items will be donated promptly at the end of the last pick-up time on that day.

HOW DO I GET MY CHECK?

Your consignor check will be available on Pick Up Day. If you do not pick up the check, it will automatically be mailed to you within 3 days of the end of the event.
